FNP Protocols

We have developed extensive protocols regarding the practice scope of our nurse practitioners.  These protocols govern the practice at MSMC Student Health as well and are available upon request.

Having these protocols in place allows Peak Health to ensure that appropriate care will be delivered by our FNP and that there are clear lines of communication between the FNP and the MDs regarding how to manage a given patient's medical condition.  Quality assurance of the Student Health practice ensures these standards are being met.

The FNP and MDs also have an active role in working with the Health Services Staff to target areas of need and develop solutions for improvement.
